Patient Admission & Discharge

Hospital admission at Hadi Clinic is coordinated through a referral from either an in-house doctor or an external physician. The date of admission is scheduled in advance, ensuring a smooth and organized process for any required surgeries or medical procedures.

Registration Process

To complete the registration for hospital admission, the following steps are required:

  • Doctor’s Referral: A formal recommendation from a physician.
  • Choosing a Suite or Room: Select your preferred type of accommodation.
  • Admission Forms: Complete the necessary hospital admission paperwork.
  • Medical History: Submit any previous medical reports, examination results, and laboratory tests.
  • Insurance: Present insurance card if applicable, to facilitate the registration process.

Admission Hours

Our hospital operates on a 24/7 basis, allowing admissions at any time.

Important Documents to Bring

  • Civil ID or Passport: Required for all types of admissions.
  • Authorization for Surgery: For patients under 21, authorization must be provided by the parents as per the Kuwait Law. If the father is deceased, the authorization can be given by the uncle or grandfather. Note that surgeries will not be performed without a signed authorization form.
  • Marriage Certificate: Needed for birthing admissions for both husband and wife.

Items to Bring During Your Stay

  • Existing Medication: Inform your nurse about any current medications.
  • Assistive Items: Such as glasses and hearing aids.
  • Personal Items: Towels, undergarments, and a fresh set of clothes for discharge.
  • Provided Comforts: Each room includes slippers and toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, and soap for your comfort.

At Hadi Clinic, we strive to make the discharge process as smooth and efficient as possible for our patients.

Patient Safety:

  • Your safety and well-being are our utmost concern. Please remain within the hospital premises until you are fit for discharge, as determined by your doctor based on your health condition.
  • If you wish to leave the ward for any reason, please discuss it with your doctor or nurse.
  • Patients who choose to be discharged against the doctor’s advice will be required to sign an AOR (At Own Risk) form.

Prescriptions and Medications:

  • Before you leave, your doctor will prescribe any necessary medications.
  • Our nursing staff will bring the prescribed medicines directly to your room, ensuring you have everything you need for your continued recovery at home.

Discharge Time:

  • The maximum discharge time is by 11:00 AM. If you are unable to leave by this time, an additional day's charge may apply.
  • The decision on your discharge day will be made by your attending doctor, based on your health condition, ensuring you are ready to leave safely.

Billing and Payment:

  • To facilitate easy and convenient payment, an accountant is available on each floor. This allows you to handle billing inquiries and payments without any inconvenience.
  • Payments can be made in cash or via KNET.
