Hematology and Coagulation Laboratory: Our laboratory conducts a wide range of hematology tests, including complete blood count (CBC), coagulation profile, peripheral smear, and sickling test, we offer screening tests for acquired and congenital coagulation defects, including prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), bleeding and clotting time, plasma fibrinogen level, and D-dimers.
Blood Transfusion Laboratory: We perform routine tests for ABO and Rhesus blood groups, as well as tests for atypical antibodies, cross-matching, and blood compatibility. Our experienced biomedical scientists collaborate with the Kuwait Central Blood Bank (KCBB) to provide leucodepleted packed red blood cells and blood components such as platelets, fresh frozen plasma (FFP), cryoprecipitate, and anti-D immunoglobulin.
Clinical Chemistry: Our laboratory provides a comprehensive range of routine and urgent chemistry and hormone tests with a short turnaround time. We offer individual tests and profile panels such as liver, renal, lipid, and fertility profiles.
Microbiology, Parasitology, and Virology: We perform various microbiological tests on samples such as blood, urine, stool, body fluids, and swabs.
Histopathology and Cytology: Our experienced medical staff members provide histopathology and cytology services for the diagnosis of various benign and malignant conditions. Our team performs routine biopsy & cytology samples, fine needle aspiration, tru-cut needle biopsy, and frozen sections in collaboration with the medical imaging department.
